What isoil HHC?

As its name suggests,oil de HHC is a oil containing hexahydrocannabinol, a semi-synthetic molecule created and discovered in the 1940s by an American chemist.

Professional retailers of CBD (cannabidiol) and products derived from hemp oils made from a distillate ofoil from hemp natural, enriched with an extraction of hexahydrocannabinol.

The result is a oil HHC (with varying concentrations), generally contained in 10ml or even 30ml bottles with an integrated dropper, with the sole aim of helping consumers to better control their consumption.

What are the supposed effects of a oil of HHC?

As we saw earlier, HHC oils, andhexahydrocannabinol in general, have not really been studied. Although it dates back to the 1940s, this product has only recently come onto the market. Scientific studies on its principles of action, short- and long-term effects and addiction risks are sorely lacking.

However, initial feedback seems to show that HHC has effects similar to those of THC: euphoria and drunkenness, laughter fits, cravings and appetite, fatigue and altered perception of reality... Here again, it is useful and imperative to remember that these effects are "only" supposed, and that there is no evidence to support them.

For whom are HHC oils not authorized?

As we have already explained, HHC is a compound found in small quantities in the cannabis plant. Its use is not recommended for some people, not least because of the possible side effects it may cause:

• Pregnant or breast-feeding women: the supposed effects ofoil HHC could be counter-productive in pregnant or breast-feeding women. This could have repercussions on the child's health, although the number of studies and data on the subject remains fairly limited.
• Children and minors under the age of 18: minors under the age of 18 are not allowed to consumeoil HHC. In addition to the effects it may have on their development, it is against the law to sell these products to younger people.
• People who are ill or under treatment:oil HHC, like other cannabinoids, can lead to complications, especially if you are under treatment. This is known as drug interaction. Cannabinoids can actually prevent the molecule in your treatment from working as it should.
